HYDAC uses digital twins in the product development of the future
Machine manufacturers are facing great challenges: requirements keep on increasing in product development. What can be done to nevertheless reduce development times while also improving emission efficiency and performance?
The key to success is to merge real and virtual development and validation processes.
At Agritechnica we showcased the advantages in a practical example: with the SMART Tele-Loader, we used a digital twin to compare simulation models with the real application in real time. This enabled us to investigate both energy- and emission-efficient drive and control strategies for electric mobility and assistance and automatic functions to increase productivity and intuitive handling of the machine.
In combination with our tailor-made Linux-based telematics software solutions and our newly developed Android / iOS apps, all incoming data can be wirelessly transmitted, displayed and incorporated seamlessly into existing systems on mobile phones and AR glasses.
A model for the future: the SMART Tele-Loader shows how a digital twin can be used to effectively reduce development times and significantly increase productivity in emission-reducing applications.
